What people ask before getting started
How much does EventOS cost?
You pay a monthly or yearly plan (yearly saves 17%) and a platform fee only on card sales, which goes down with higher plans. Current prices and fees are on the Pricing page.
Do you charge a fee on cash sales?
No. Cash sales recorded at your box office carry no platform fee.
Do I pay the fee or does the buyer?
Your choice. Absorb it or pass it on to the buyer at checkout. You can also add your own service charge and tax.
How and when do I get paid?
Card payments are charged by Stripe directly on your connected account: you are the seller and the money never goes through us. Stripe pays out to your bank on your account's payout schedule and charges its own processing fee.
Do I need a Stripe account?
To take cards, yes. You create and connect it from your dashboard while activating your organization; before that you can set up venues, events and your site.
What hardware do I need?
Nothing special. The scanner works on any phone with a camera and the box office runs in the browser on a tablet or computer. For cards you can key them in or use a compatible Stripe Terminal reader (optional).
Are there contracts or minimum terms?
No minimum term. You sign a digital service agreement inside the platform and can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Who owns my customer data?
You do. You decide how it is used, we never sell personal data, and you can export your information, including for 30 days after you cancel.
Does it work in English and Spanish?
Yes. The dashboard, your public site, tickets and emails are available in both languages, and everyone sees their own.
Can I see it before deciding?
Yes. Open the live demo with sample events, or create your free account and set up your venue without a card. You pay for a plan when you are ready to sell.
